KOSCIUSKO CO., - Pierceton Woods supervisor is charged with sexually assaulting a teenage client.
Dena Sue Patel of Warsaw is charged with sexual misconduct by a service provider.
The youth treatment academy helps young men with substance abuse issues or even their own compulsive sexual challenges.
This is the third abuse investigation since 2019 at the facility.
The academy claims it removed Patel from work just a half-hour after first hearing of the allegations and no longer works there.
In a statement the company said, "We do everything we can to dissuade and prevent harmful behaviors by our staff, both in policy and in practice, and we will continue to do our very best to serve and protect our clients in this, and all other regards."
