KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The Kosciusko County Sherriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on S.R 13 at the intersection of Backwater Road in Tippecanoe Township.

The call came in at approximately 3:10 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle rear-end collision. Authorities arrived on scene and located a Harley Davidson and a Chevy 25000 Truck. The preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle was traveling northbound on S.R. 13 and struck the rear of the Chevy that was waiting to turn left. 

The driver of the motorcycle is identified as 66-year-old Carlos Lundy of Middlebury. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the Chevy was not injured. 

This crash remains under investigation.
