Knute Rockne's Greatest Games lecture at The History Museum

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- "Rockne: His Greatest Games" will be presented by Alex Painter at 2 p.m. on Oct. 12 at The History Museum in conjunction with the exhibit Rockne: Life & Legacy.
Ticket prices for admission cost $5 and include tours of the exhibit.
Painter will be available to sign copies of his book, "Louis Salmon: All-American - The Story of Notre Dame Football’s Forgotten First Star".
The book offers a portrait of the program’s first great player and a window into the history of Notre Dame football.
Painter’s lecture will trace Knute Rockne’s rise in college football through the games that made his name at Notre Dame.
The talk will revisit contests that were turning points that forged rivalries and showcase bold decisions that helped reshape the sport.
Painter is known as a Notre Dame fan, researcher, and historian. He hosted and produced "Onward to Victory: A Notre Dame Football Podcast" since 2019, sharing more than 100 episodes of Fighting Irish stories.
