Jackson Middle School students receive donation of supplies

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Jackson Middle School will receive a donation of both school supplies and pandemic safety items on Thursday. PPE manufacturer Green Shield, Kuert Concrete, and the Black Lives Matter, South Bend chapter will make the donations.

Students will be receiving a drawstring bag that has face masks, hand sanitizer, and school supplies in it.

Additionally, a local business, Ivory Koast Tees, had the school’s logo printed on the bags and masks.

Principal Tiana Batiste-Waddell and teachers will be giving out the supplies to students to prepare them for in-person learning.

Steve Fidler, president of Kuert Concrete, also donated new signage for the school that not only reflects their core values but also helps students safely social distance.
