IU fans gather at Corby's Irish Pub for the historic Hoosier win

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57's Blake Parker was live at Corby's Irish Pub in South Bend for IU's historic take down of the Oregon Ducks at the Peach Bowl with a win of 56-22.

The energy was electric, and fans could not be prouder to watch IU continue with their historic season.

“It’s epic, I mean there’s almost no way to describe it." Said '94 Hoosier grad and IUSB University Relations Vice-Chair, Rob DeCleene. "I mean everybody knows we were the losing program in college football and then Coach Cig in the last two years - what he’s done, it’s just been remarkable, and you know just the energy around the games whether you’re at the game or the game watch, it’s just unbelievable,”

Corby's owner, Joe Mittiga, told ABC57 that seeing the Cream and Crimson fill the bar for a change was a dream come true for his IU heart and that if IU won, he would be making the trip to Miami.
