ABC57 Kickoff: Irish pub in Pittsburgh holds Notre Dame fan fest ahead of big game

PITTSBURG, Pa.-- The ABC57 Kickoff team ended their night at one of the busiest fan hubs in the city: Mullaney’s in the Strip District.

The pub transformed into a mini-Notre Dame campus, packed wall-to-wall with Irish fans who traveled from all over the country. Some made the same long drive from South Bend, while others came from places like New York and Chattanooga — all gathering to celebrate before the big game.

Mullaney’s is home to one of Notre Dame’s 261 alumni clubs nationwide, and tonight it showed. Fans filled the space with blue and gold gear, loud cheers, and nonstop energy. With college football’s biggest shows in town — College GameDay and ACC Huddle — and the game officially sold out, the Irish presence in Pittsburgh is already impossible to ignore.

The ABC57 crew will be live from Acrisure Stadium tomorrow morning with full coverage of Notre Dame’s offense, defense, expert analysis, and a new edition of Talia’s Take.
