TAMPA, Fla. - On its biggest stage, women's basketball will once again showcase its best rivalry.
Friday night, Notre Dame and UConn meet for the eighth time in the Final Four, and the second time in two years. The Irish got the better of the Huskies in last year's national semifinals, but the results reversed this regular season when UConn left South Bend with a decisive victory in December.
