SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Indiana Whiskey Company partnered with the South Bend Medical Foundation to host a blood drive on Wednesday.
In addition to producing hand sanitizer and reusable masks for the community, Indiana Whiskey Company is now providing help through this blood drive.
ABC57 got a chance to visit the blood drive, and we learned that donations were booked for the entire day.
Kim Sult, the Costumer Experience Director with Indiana Whiskey Company, says that they want to help out the community in any way they can.
“Times are tough and interesting and I know that so much of what people want to do is help so we figured what nice way to be able to combine a couple things that we’re interested in,” Sult said. “Blood is one of the many ways that we can be helping people. You know you don’t know who it is that you’re helping, but you sit in there, it’s so easy to do it’s so easy to be a blood donor.”
Visit the website for the South Bend Medical Foundation to find out where you can go to donate blood.
