Indiana University football trophies coming to IU South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Indiana University Athletics officials announced that it will bring the program's football championship trophies from the past season to IU South Bend's campus. This will include trophies for the College Football Playoff National Championship, the Big Ten Championship, the Rose Bowl, and the Peach Bowl, as well as Ben Mendoza's Heisman trophy and the Old Oaken Bucket.

The event is happening Thursday, April 2, from 4-7 p.m. It'll be in the Fireside room in the University Grill, located in the Administration Building at 1700 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Parking is available in the Esther Street lot on the west side of campus.

Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to take photos with the trophies. There will also be giveaways. Representatives from the IU Office of Admissions will also be available to speak to prospective students and parents, as well as assist in applying to IU South Bend.
