Indiana State Police seize significant amount of drugs

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana State Police interdicted approximately 12 pounds of methamphetamine on July 8 in Munster, Indiana.

The drugs were coming from the El Paso, Texas area, and destined for the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area.

Sgt. Joe Gawor stated, “The Indiana State Police remain vigilant in our efforts to remove dangerous drugs from our communities. We are proud to partner with the DEA and the HIDTA Task Force in order to accomplish these ongoing efforts in the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
