Indiana State Police assigns newly appointed Trooper to Toll Road Post
STARKE COUNTY, Ind. --Eleven Probationary Troopers graduated from the 83 Indiana State Police Academy, on December 15, 2022.
Out of those eleven graduates, Probationary Trooper Tyler Pinnington got assigned to the Toll Road Post.

These troopers have completed more than 1,200 hours of structured training in law enforcement hands-on and techniques, scenario-based training at the Indiana State Police Recruit Academy.
Their curriculum involves emergency vehicle psychology, criminal law instruction, crash investigation, traffic law, first responder, self-defense, and other general law enforcement-related training.
After successfully completing his field training, Trooper Pinnington's assigned patrol area will primarily be on the Toll Road in Elkhart, LaGrange County, and St. Joseph.
Trooper Pinnington is a graduate from 2016 of Bishop Dwenger High School from Fort Wayne, Indiana, which he now currently resides in Steuben County.
