Warming up this weekend before more storms next week
The air quality alert has been extended for all of Michiana through midnight Friday, however, smoke will continue to move out of the area today, improving air quality.
It's hot and muggy again with temperatures climbing into the mid/upper 80s by afternoon.
Most of the day is dry, but this evening, we do have a chance for rain showers and possibly some thunderstorms. These continue overnight, but will move out of the area early Saturday.
The weekend stays wet both Saturday and Sunday with scattered rain and storm chances.
High temperatures fall a few degrees each day over the weekend.
Monday and 4th of July Tuesday will be dry but temperatures warm again into the upper 80s for the holiday.

Tonight: Few showers or storms. Low 67.
Saturday: Scattered showers/thunderstorms. High 83.
