SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- As of 8:30 a.m., 4,100 customers are without power. Indiana Michigan Power has restored power to most storm impacted customers that received power in Southwest Michigan, South Bend, and Elkhart, and Fort Wayne. 

Officials say there were more than 17,000 customers without powers at the height of the storm.

Customers can sign up for text or email alerts regarding the outages on I&M's mobile app or online and an outage map can be found here.

As customers being cleanup, treat any downed lines and anything it could touch, such as fences or standing water as energized. Call local police, I&M immediately at 1-800-311-4634 to report any safety hazard.
