UPDATE: Power restored in Marshall County after animal caused hundreds of outages

UPDATE: Power was restored to all customers before 6 a.m. on Monday morning. 

ABC57 News is still working to learn more details about the outage.

ORIGINAL STORY: MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Over 500 customers are without power in eastern Marshall County Monday morning. 

Marshall County REMC reported the outage just after 3 a.m. in Bourbon and north of the town. 

According to the utility company's website, the outage was caused by a large animal. 

It's unclear how long it will take for power to be restored.
