After a night of severe thunderstorms across our area, conditions are much calmer to start the week. Highs climb into the mid 90s today with a heat index value closer to 100F late this afternoon. There could be a few more isolated showers later today, although rain chances appear greater tomorrow. Lows tonight only fall into the mid 70s, around 15F degrees above the average low for this time of year. Tuesday's highs won't be quite as hot as today's but higher dewpoints will keep heat indices close to 100F through most of the week. Expect scattered rain chances Tuesday afternoon and evening in the form of patchy showers and a possible thunderstorm. More hot and sunny weather awaits Wednesday as precipitation chances diminish through the rest of the week
Today: Partly cloudy. High 95.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 75.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, then scattered rain. High 92.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 94.
