Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum announces fall train excursions

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. – The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is offering a variety of train rides this fall for guests of all ages to enjoy.

The fall train excursions begin on October 2 with the museum’s Fall Harvest Trains at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Central Time.

The museum will also be running the Pumpkin Trains on Saturdays in October, with a trip through northwest Indiana’s countryside and a visit to the pumpkin patch, where guests can pick out a pumpkin for $3.

The Halloween Twilight Train will depart on October 30 at 4:15 p.m. Central Time and features the Not-So-Scary, Scary Animal Show for adults and children.

Reservations for fall train rides are now available on the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum website.

Guests are asked to purchase their pumpkins when they purchase train tickets for the Pumpkin Train rides.

Tickets must be picked up in the depot prior to boarding the train.

Seating is first-come and guests are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
