SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has released the identities of the two men shot and killed at a South Bend apartment complex late Thursday.
Malik Balderos, 21, and Ricky Kinds Jr., 20, were both fatally shot at the Waterford Glen Apartment complex on Thursday night, according to Metro Homicide.
Police were called to the apartment complex, located near Edison and Woodfield Dr., just before around 11:45 p.m. Thursday for reports of gunfire.
Officers located the two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene while one was transported to the hospital where he later died.
