NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Hannah Hidalgo now sits alone at the top of the ACC Rookie of the Week record books with her 11th honor this week.

The star freshman has now passed Florida State's Ta'Niya Latson, who previously held the record with 10.

Defeating Florida State in double overtime played a big part.

Last week Hidalgo netted 30 points in Notre Dame's loss to No. 15 Louisville, marking the fifth time this season she has scored 30 or more points in a game. She also set a school record for scoring at least 20 points in 10 consecutive games.

If that wasn't enough, Hidalgo also broke a 43-year-old freshman scoring record for hitting 530 points in the season on Thursday. This record was previously held by Shari Matvey.

Additionally, Hidalgo set a school record for steals with her 115th on the season, passing Skylar Diggins' 114 steals and setting the program single-season record. She already set the ACC freshman steals record.

The freshman also made 19 of 20 free-throws last week, the most made of any major conference player in that week. Two of which, sealed the victory over Florida State in the second overtime.

Hidalgo leads the ACC with 25.1 ppg and the nation with 5.1 steals per game.

Next up the Irish host NC State Thursday, February 15 at 6 p.m.
