Grant winners announced for Visit South Bend Mishawaka

St. Joseph County, Ind., Funding has been awarded to multiple programs that draw people to the Michiana area.

Today the South Bend Mishawaka Tourism Grant winners were announced for 2018. All of the groups promote tourism activities in the area and working to increase hotel/motel occupancy in St. Joseph County.

This is the eighth year of the grant program and more than 39 groups applied for the $110,000 in grant funding from the St. Joseph County Hotel-Motel Tax Board. This year 27 groups will get up to $10,000 each in funding. Junior Irish Soccer received the maximum amount for its Memorial Day Invitational.
