MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Dr. Mobicare Wound Clinic celebrated its grand opening Thursday evening.
The clinic is the first of its kind in the area and has been well-received by the community due to high demand of wound care services.
Located in the facility, the clinic is easy to access for residents and provides a wide range of care levels.
Vice President of clinical services for Dr. Mobicare, Marcy Little, told ABC57, "At Dr Mobicare, we are just incredibly excited to always be looking at the landscape of wound care and to offer dynamic services to help meet the needs of the population that we serve."
"One of the things I do want to say about our facility, particularly is we serve the community." Said Todd Smith, Executive Director of Aperion Care Arbors. "So, whatever that means. We take very challenging cases. We take individuals that just need short term rehab. We take individuals that need longer term placement. At the end of the day, that's what this facility is here for, and it's to care for the community that we serve."
