Goodwill hosting military veteran Stand Down events across Northern Indiana

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Goodwill Industries of Michiana's Veterans Resource Network is hosting six military veteran Stand Down events in the Northern Indiana counties of St. Joseph, Kosciusko, Elkhart, La Porte, Porter, and Marshall.
Goodwill's Veteran's Resource Network connects veterans, service members, their families and their caregivers to community resources that provide support to unemployed, at-risk, and homeless veterans. These events offer clothing, food, medical care, job counseling, mental health resources, and more for veterans.
“Through the generosity of our community – including those who shop at and donate to Goodwill – we can continue to empower veterans with critical resources to build brighter futures. We are thrilled to be host six Stand Downs this year, to connect more veterans and their families with the support they need,” said Jill Powers, manager of Goodwill’s Veterans Resource Network.
