MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Time to bust out the swimsuits Michiana; Slide the Hill is here!
This all-ages event features four massive slip-n-slides that cascade down one of the largest hills at George Wilson Park.
One slip-n-slide is the traditional style, while the three others are packed to the brim with foam!
Each ticket is $10 per person but counts for unlimited trips down the hill during a two-hour session.
Slide the Hill is one of more than 60 events that Mishawaka Parks & Rec hosts each year, and one they're especially proud of because of how great the community reaction is every year.
"This is an awesome event because all the staff in the park tomorrow comes together and we're out here laying these slides ourselves, and we take a lot of pride in this. So, when the kids show up and are having a lot of fun, all the staff can look at each other and kind of give high-fives. Because it's all worth it, there's a lot of work going into it, but we see those kids smiling in the end. It's all worth it." said MP&R Superintendent, Phil Blasko.
Anyone looking to slide must register for a session online here at least one hour before that session begins.
