STARKE COUNTY, Ind. - The funeral services for a fallen Starke County paramedic, Michael Wilcox Sr., are being held today.
Wilcox lost his life when his ambulance was struck by another vehicle on August 5, 2023. Fellow paramedic Brandy Salita was also injured in the incident.
Visitation for Wilcox will be held at 2 p.m. CST. in North Judson.
His remains will then be escorted from San Pierre Firehouse to Liberty Elementary Gymnasium.
Governor Eric Holcomb has requested that flags be flown at half-staff today in Wilcox's honor.
A GoFundMe page has been created to ease financial strain on his family, and you can donate to that cause here.
