Free bottled water distribution times and locations

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has announced the times and locations for free water bottle distribution that will be available across Benton Harbor from Tuesday through Friday.

These water bottle distributions are in effort to help Benton Harbor residents have clean water for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth amid the city’s lead-tainted water line crisis.

Upcoming dates and times for residents to pick up water at distribution sites are:

Tuesday:

• Southwest Community Action Agency, 331 Miller St. (Self-service pick-up), 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Abundant Life Church of God, 693 Columbus Ave., 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday:

• Southwest Community Action Agency (Water loaded into vehicles by volunteers), 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday:

• Southwest Community Action Agency (Water loaded into vehicles by volunteers), 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Brotherhood of All Nations, 1286 Monroe St., 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday:

• God’s Household of Faith, 275 Pipestone Road, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Southwest Community Action Agency (Self-service pick-up), 10a.m. to 2 p.m.
