Four arrested after 'teen takeover' of Michigan City beach, three firearms recovered

Michigan City Police Department MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Four were arrested and three firearms were recovered after a "teen takeover" of the Michigan City beach, according to the La Porte County Drug Task Force Tuesday.
The arrests and firearm recovery come as part of the task force's "Operation Safe Shore," meant to address public safety concerns around the "teen takeover" and make sure the surrounding beach environment is safe for residents and visitors.
More information about the arrests will be released as the judicial process continues.
