SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- The Open Space & Agricultural Alliance and Faith in Action Indiana held a forum for candidates running for the St. Joseph County Commission District 3 seat on Wednesday. Incumbent Deb Fleming and challenger Hodge Patel addressed a virtual crowd of voters for 30 minutes to give their vision for the future of St. Joseph County.
The candidates fielded questions about the expansion of the Indiana Enterprise Center and the state of the economy during the Coronavirus Pandemic, among other issues on Wednesday.
Each candidate addressed the audience during separate time slots with Patel speaking during the first half hour and Fleming speaking during the second.
There will be another forum on Sunday at 4 p.m. for the District 2 race between Derek Dieter and Oliver Davis. That forum will also be virtual.
