2025 Notre Dame Football captains announced
HAUULA, Hawaii. – Former University of Notre Dame defensive lineman Kona Schwenke has died at the age of 25.
Schwenke played for the Irish from 2010 through the 2013 season and helped to lead the Irish to the BCS national championship game during his senior season.
He went on to play for several NFL teams following his stellar career at Notre Dame.
The details surrounding his death are unclear.
