Firefighters investigating fire near Northern Avenue and SR 23

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Officials are investigating a fire that occurred at the corner of Ponsha Street and the 5400 block of Northern Avenue on Monday.
Firefighters were on scene of the fire around 9 a.m. Monday. When crews arrived at the scene, they noticed smoke and flames at the front of a building.
They were able to put the fire quickly.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
