Fire officials say the blaze started around midnight at SRI on Edwards Street.
Something inside a scrap metal pile caught fire causing thick smoke. They are investigating the cause of what started it.

Officials tell us no employees were there when the fire began and there are no injuries.
The fire is now under control.
Seven fire departments and nine tankers battled the flames. It took more than 130,000 gallons of water to put out the fire.
