Fire extinguished in abandoned building in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- An abandoned building in South Bend caught fire Thursday morning.

Firefighters responded to the building, at Mishawaka Avenue and Louise Street, around 10:30 a.m.

The fire was extinguished within 10 to 15 minutes.

The building is owned by the city and is on the demolition list.

There were no injuries reported.
