NILES, Mich. - Multiple agencies responded to the scene of an explosion and house fire on the 600 block of Vine Street in Niles, just off of M-51.
Authorities received a call around 11:40 a.m. about a home explosion.
Responders say after the explosion, the house was caught on fire.
No one was in the house at the time.
However, fire officials say the house did sustain major damage.
