28th Annual Michiana Chili Cookoff serving up the heat
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The main entrance to Jean Klock is shut down due to the installation of a new Fiber Optic Cable.
The cable will run from Chicago's Navy Pier all the way under Lake Michigan to the city water plant.
The $68 million project will get better high-speed internet to Southwest Michigan.
The city of Benton Harbor approved a 75-year lease with Peninsula Fiber Network.
They'll be getting fere broadband connections to seven city buildings.
If you'd like to access to the park the northern entrance is still open.
