Fatal crash being investigated on Franklin Street in Michigan City

ABC 57 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Police Department confirmed officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Franklin Street Sunday evening for a fatal vehicle crash.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and congestion in the surrounding area as officers remain on scene conducting the investigation.
The Michigan City Police Department ask that motorists avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes.
