FACT investigating serious injury crash happening on SR 23 Saturday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. ---- The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team (FACT) is actively investigating a serious injury crash that happened Saturday morning near the State Line on State Road 23.
Officials say a black Ford Taurus was traveling southbound on SR23 around noon when it drifted left of the center line and struck a Chevy Trail Blazer nearly head-on.
The driver of the Chevy Trail Blazer. Lori Ann Adler (54) of Edwardsburg, Mich., was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive. Her passenger, Richard Adler, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford Taurus, Cole M. Sanders (21) of Holland, Mich., also suffered minor injuries.
