"Expend4bles" opening weekend reception
Lionsgate New action movie, "Expend4bles", blasted into theaters over the weekend.
This fourth installment in the franchise confirms lead star Sylvester Stallone in his final appearance as Barney in the franchise. Also returning are Jason Statham as Christmas, Dolph Lundgren as Gunner, and Randy Couture as Toll Road.
New to the film are 50 Cent as Easy Day, Megan Fox as Gina, and Iko Uwais as Rahmat.
The film follows a new generation of fighters recruited as a last option against a new threat.
"Expend4bles" opened to $8.3 million domestically, against an estimated budget of $100 million, with a current audience score of 71% on rotten tomatoes.
The worldwide box office numbers are not yet available.
Take caution that "Expend4bles" is rated R for strong/bloody violence throughout, language and sexual material.
