Elkhart Police searching for suspect in vehicle theft

Elkhart Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a vehicle theft.
Police said at 1 p.m. on July 16, they responded to the 300 block of S. 2nd Street about a vehicle theft.
The vehicle has since been recovered.
Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect seen walking away from the vehicle.
