ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Technology is helping the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department train its deputies for handling real world scenarios.
The simulators take the deputies through real-life situations.
At the end of each training session, the deputies are evaluated on their reaction time, accuracy and appropriateness of their response.
