ABC 57 CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A 78-year-old pedestrian is injured after being struck by a vehicle while walking.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports a driver was traveling north on Barron Lake Road just after 6 p.m. on Nov. 7. Donald Welsh of Niles was walking across Barron Lake Road from Cliffield Court when he was then hit by the vehicle.
Welsh was transported to the hospital for his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
