EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- In the wake of Friday's severe weather, Edwardsburg Public Schools is looking to help community members.
The Intermediate School cafeteria opened at 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 7, for families, first responders, or community members who need a meal or a place to go.
The district says it is grateful to its food service and operations staff for making this possible so quickly. Its crisis team is coordinating additional support for students, families, and staff.
EPS says they will have an open gym at the Intermediate School for families and children in the community.
EPS will open on Sunday, Mar. 8 at 8 a.m. to serve more meals.
