ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- With over 30 years in law enforcement, Earl Wigfall has announced that he is running for St. Joseph County sherif as the second democratic candidate.
Wigfall announced his candidacy Wednesday afternoon at the County City building.
"The reason I’m running for Sheriff is because I believe St. Joseph County deserves experienced, just, and accountable leadership." Wigfall said in his announcement. "...leadership that understands every level of law enforcement, on this department from the jail to patrol to training division and command level."
