Downtown South Bend celebrating Football and First Fridays this weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Downtown South Bend is combining their First Fridays and Football Fridays Nov. 6 ahead of the Notre Dame v. Clemson home game.
This Friday, families can enjoy a free tailgate party on the Gridiron with live music, a cash bar, and yard games.
In addition, Winter Restaurant Weeks is also taking place in the city, and the public can enjoy value-priced menus for carryout, delivery, and in-person dining.
Attendees are encouraged to wear ND apparel or green for the Green Out in celebration of the Nov. 7 game.
The Jerry O’Fonics Band will be playing from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a cash bar will be provided by the Courtyard by Marriott South Bend Downtown.
The AFCA Coaches’ Trophy, presented by Amway, will also be displayed for fans to see and take photos with.
This is the trophy’s sixth stop on a multi-city tour throughout the college football season.
Tables and chairs will be socially-distanced and cleaned by DTSB Ambassadors throughout this event, and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Masks are required except when eating or drinking.
