Quiet weather in Michiana today, several days of rain ahead
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police found two people deceased in the Laurel Woods apartment complex while responding to a welfare check at 2 a.m. Saturday.
The victims were identified as 28-year-old Jamie Minns and 29-year-old Samantha Lawson. They are both from Niles.
Police said they both suffered gunshot wounds.
The Violent Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
