Dog collides with motorcyclist

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Sheriff Richard J. Behnke says his office was called to investigate a single vehicle crash Friday night on Union Rd in Porter Township.
According to reports, a 67-year-old man from Plymouth was riding his motorcycle when a dog ran into the road, striking his motorcycle and caused him to crash.
The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
He was soon taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for his injuries.
