Deputies investigating fatal shooting at home on CR 1500 S.

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Monday evening at a home in the 8200 block of CR 1500 South, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to the home around 8:15 p.m. and arrived a short time later.
The responding Deputy and sergeant arrived and then a person walked out of the residence, reports said.
The person was taken into custody.
Inside the home, they located 33-year-old Jeremiah Wetzel with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
