Suspect in Delphi murders must remain in Westville Correctional Facility

DELPHI, Ind. - The man accused of killing two teenage girls near their hometown of Delphi in 2017 will have to remain in the Westville Correctional Facility.

Richard Allen is charged with the murders and his trial is scheduled for January of 2024.

His lawyers have tried to get him transferred from the facility because they claim his health is getting bad and he has poor living conditions at Westville.

The special judge in the case however has ruled that Allen must stay in Westville.
