Daveyaun Groves sentenced to prison for murder of Jeremiah Parker

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.— Daveyaun Groves has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for the July 2020 murder of Jeremiah Parker, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
A jury found Groves, 20, of South Bend, guilty of murder and the firearms sentencing enhancement during a trial held November 1-3.
Groves was sentenced to 55 years in prison for murder and an additional 20 years for the firearms enhancement.
Parker, 19, was shot and killed on Marine Street on July 3, 2020.
