CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Just around 1:30 p.m. a car crash leaves one person dead.

Once officers arrived on scene, they found 77-year-old Elsie Levan was driving a Nissan Rogue east on Mason Street.

According to the Cass County Sheriff Levan failed to yield the right of way and hit the driver's side of a Toyota Highlander being driven by 38-year-old Andrew Habich.

Levan was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The current condition on Habich has not been released.

This crash is an ongoing investigation.
