Corewell Health South Gala raises over $500,000 for nurse education

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. - Corewell Health South's annual gala raised over $500,000 for higher education opportunities for the hospital's nurses.
More than 300 community members attended the gala, At the Heart of Healing, held at St. Joseph's Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.
Money was raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, and auctions. Officials plan to use the money to increase access to and minimize the costs of obtaining advanced degrees in nursing.
