Concert for a Cure celebrates survivors, supporters, and patients July 19

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Michiana Hematology Oncology has announced its 11th Annual Concert for a Cure will be held at 7 p.m. on July 19 at Battell Park in Mishawaka with featured band The Whistling Pigs.

"The concert is open to the public and celebrates the fight against cancer and honors everyone in the community who has fought and is currently fighting this disease," organizers said. "Everyone who attends receives a free glow stick and is encouraged to participate in a Life Light Ceremony at dusk, marking the global fight against cancer."

The concert is free, but attendees should plan to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating during the concert.

There will be multiple food trucks at the event, including Rico Suave, Rulli's Pizza, and Kona Ice. Guest are also welcome to bring food and beverages to enjoy during the concert.

Battell Park is located at 301 W. Mishawaka Ave. in Mishawaka.
