SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- This Saturday, residents will have an opportunity to support local artists while helping a local organization that's been changing lives for over five decades.

The Artisan Market at Howard Park is sponsored by Portage Township and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Life Treatment Centers, a South Bend nonprofit that has provided substance use disorder treatment and recovery services in St. Joseph County and northern Indiana since the early 1970s. Life Treatment Centers offers residential treatment, outpatient therapy, case management, relapse prevention programs, and recovery support services for those seeking a path forward from addiction.

The Artisan Market will feature local artists, vendors, community organizations, and activities for residents of all ages.

Amy Grill, CEO of Life Treatment Centers, stated, "Every recovery story begins with a community willing to believe in someone's future. At Life Treatment Centers, we have spent decades helping individuals and families find hope after addiction. The support generated through events like the Artisan Market allows us to continue providing life-changing services and reminds those in recovery that they are not alone.”
